I am broadly interested in relational reasoning and the process of conceptual acquisition and change in children. I am especially curious about how children construct and revise theories about the physical world and come to represent and categorize different natural and object kinds.

In the Quad Lab, I’m excited to learn about how children form and access their symbolic and non-symbolic representations of number and which cognitive strategies they use to compute quantitative information based on contextual cues.
